Federal Scholarship Tax Credit in Wyoming

Governor Mark Gordon has elected to have Wyoming participate in the Federal Scholarship Tax Credit.

Governor Gordon notified the U.S. Treasury Department that Wyoming will participate in the FSTC in 2027, so K-12 students in the state will be able to access these scholarships.

What This Means for Wyoming
  • Wyoming’s elementary and secondary students will have access to FSTC-funded scholarships in 2027!
  • SGOs are preparing to start collecting donations and distribute scholarships in Wyoming in January 2027. They await instructions about how to make sure they are on the State SGO List.
  • Schools, tutoring programs, and other education providers are preparing for the increase in demand in 2027.
